Skuhravý působil v Košicích od loňského září a v minulé sezoně dovedl tým k pátému místu v lize. Následně s ním vypadl ve 2. předkole Konferenční ligy s Grodnem a v úvodních osmi kolech slovenské ligy získal jedinou výhru.
„Od léta se mužstvo neposouvalo směrem, jakým bychom si představovali. Proto jsme se sešli a dohodli se na férovém ukončení spolupráce. Mužstvo potřebuje nový impulz,“ řekl sportovní ředitel klubu Marek Sapara.
Skuhravého nástupce zatím známý není. Před Košicemi působil padesátiletý trenér tři sezony v Podbrezové, kterou dovedl do nejvyšší soutěže. To samé se mu povedlo i předtím v Opavě. Kromě ní vedl v Česku pražskou Duklu a v začátcích kariéry Jablonec, s nímž ovládl v roce 2013 domácí pohár.

Duke coach Jon Scheyer has agreed to a two-year extension running through the 2030-31 season as he enters his fourth year coming off a Final Four run.The school announced the deal Thursday for the 38-year-old successor to retired Hall of Famer Mike Krzyzewski.
