O Palmeiras confirmou a venda da atacante Amanda Gutierres para o Boston Legacy, dos Estados Unidos, nesta sexta-feira (3). Trata-se da maior negociação da história do futebol feminino brasileiro.
O Verdão receberá US$ 1,1 milhão (cerca de R$ 5,89 milhões), além de bonificações futuras, pela transferência de 80% dos direitos econômicos da jogadora. É também uma das cinco maiores do mundo na modalidade.
A despedida da artilheira
Aos 23 anos, Amanda deixa o clube como a maior artilheira da história palestrina no futebol feminino. Foram 68 gols marcados em 92 partidas Seu desempenho a transformou em um dos principais nomes do futebol mundial. Um dos reconhecimentos veio nesta edição da Bola de Ouro, quando apareceu na 21ª colocação. Foi a única entre as 30 finalistas a atuar fora dos Estados Unidos ou da Europa.
Em mensagem divulgada pelo site oficial do Palmeiras, Amanda agradeceu ao clube, à comissão técnica, às companheiras e à torcida:
“Quero agradecer ao Alberto, ao nosso staff, às atletas e ao clube no geral, por todo o apoio que sempre me deu e pelo projeto desenvolvido desde quando cheguei aqui. Obrigada a todos que fizeram parte deste ciclo que vai se encerrar em dezembro e à nossa torcida, por sempre nos apoiar. Levarei o Palmeiras no meu coração.”
Apesar do acerto, a atacante permanecerá defendendo o time até o fim da temporada, já que o Palmeiras ainda disputa o Campeonato Paulista e está na semifinal da Copa do Brasil Feminina.
Negócio histórico
O valor pago pelo Boston Legacy não é apenas recorde no Brasil, mas também coloca a transferência de Amanda entre as maiores do mundo. A negociação iguala a venda da norte-americana Naomi Girma, que deixou o San Diego Wave para defender o Chelsea, também por US$ 1,1 milhão, em janeiro de 2025.
No ranking internacional, o top 3 é liderado por Grace Geyoro, que deixou o Paris Saint-Germain rumo ao London City Lionesses por 1,43 milhão de libras (R$ 10,2 milhões). Confira abaixo as cinco maiores vendas.
Impacto no mercado brasileiro
Antes da saída de Amanda, a maior venda do futebol feminino brasileiro havia sido a de Priscila, do Internacional. Quando a jogadora acertou com o América-MEX, por cerca de R$ 2,8 milhões.
A negociação da atacante do Palmeiras também segue uma tendência de aumento internacionalmente.
Somente na última janela de meio de ano, o futebol feminino registrou mais de 1.100 transferências internacionais, movimentando cerca de US$ 12 milhões (R$ 65 milhões), segundo dados da FIFA.
