Obwohl Stürmer Endrick (19) in der aktuellen LaLiga-Saison noch ohne Einsatzminute für Real Madrid ist, genießt er weiterhin das volle Vertrauen von Cheftrainer Xabi Alonso (43) Auf der Pressekonferenz der Königlichen am Freitag fand der Coach deutliche Worte der Wertschätzung für den Brasilianer, der sich nach einer länger andauernden Oberschenkelverletzung noch im Aufbautraining befindet.
„Endrick trainiert seit Wochen gut. Er erholt sich noch von einer langen Verletzung“, erklärte Alonso. Die Verletzung, die sich der Offensivspieler im Mai zugezogen hatte, wurde im Juni durch einen Rückschlag zusätzlich verzögert.
Zwar stand er seither bereits mehrfach im Kader, auf einen Einsatz wartet er jedoch weiterhin. Für die kommende Länderspielphase wurde der Stürmer von Brasiliens Nationaltrainer Carlo Ancelotti (66) nicht nominiert.

Trotz der aktuellen Situation ließ Alonso keinen Zweifel an der sportlichen Qualität des Youngsters: „Endrick hat den Tor-Instinkt, einen brutalen Abschluss und spielt großartige Pässe. Er wird seine Chancen bekommen. Seine Zeit wird kommen.“
In der vergangenen Saison – seiner ersten in Madrid – konnte Endrick erste Erfahrungen im Profikader sammeln. Bisher absolvierte er 37 Pflichtspiele für Real Madrid und erzielte dabei sieben Tore.
Die begrenzte Spielzeit führte im Sommer zu Spekulationen über einen möglichen Leihwechsel. Endrick selbst lehnte einen solchen Schritt laut Medienberichten jedoch klar ab und möchte sich bei Real durchsetzen.
[–>Endrick gilt als eines der größten Talente des brasilianischen Fußballs. Der 1,73 Meter große Mittelstürmer durchlief die Jugendakademie von Palmeiras und schaffte dort früh den Sprung in die Profimannschaft.
Schon im Alter von 16 Jahren kündigte sich sein Wechsel zu Real Madrid an: Der spanische Rekordmeister sicherte sich Ende 2022 die Dienste des Youngsters – der Transfer wurde aber erst im Sommer 2024 nach Erreichen der Volljährigkeit wirksam. Endricks Vertrag bei den Königlichen läuft bis 2030.
