Hledá se forma. Zn. spěchá. Asi tak lze popsat rozpoložení, v němž se momentálně nachází třináctá Dukla i patnácté Teplice. Mančaft z Julisky vyhrál v nejvyšší soutěži jen 16. srpna proti Plzni, od daného momentu zaknihoval tři porážky (Sparta, Bohemians, Slavia) a dvě remízy. Jediný triumf Sklářů je ještě o dva týdny starší, porazili 3:0 Bohemians ve druhém kole. I proto dělí v tabulce obě mužstva jeden jediný bodík.
Výrazně povedenější vstup do sezony si zajisté představovala i dvanáctá Mladá Boleslav, stejně jako čtrnácté Slovácko. Domácí mají k dobru odloženou dohrávku s Bohemians (nový termín 22. října) a jeden zápas oproti zbytku soutěže k dobru, ale i tak tuší, že mají na víc. Proti mančaftu z Uherského Hradiště, který v sezoně vyhrál zatím jen nad Teplicemi, se papírově nabízí slušná příležitost. Ale i Slovácko umí kousat, ve čtvrtém kole například uhrálo cennou remízu 1:1 v Plzni. Z posledních pěti zápasů ale uhrálo pouze bod v Pardubicích.
Právě poslední celek tabulky z Pardubic zůstává i po trenérské rošádě jediným, který zatím čeká na první tříbodová zisk v jednom kole. Lavičce šéfuje patriot Jiří Krejčí, jeho svěřenci ve středeční dohrávce s Ostravou herně nepropadli, ale i kvůli brzké červené kartě pro stopera Davida Šimka prohráli 0:1. Závěr hracího dne přinese střet dvou mančaftů ze středu tabulky, které by rády poskočily výš. Sedmý Liberec se utká s devátými Bohemians. Slovan sice vypadl z poháru, jelikož nezvládl pohárový rozstřel s druholigovým Artisem Brno, v lize ale neprohrál čtyřikrát za sebou. A to čelil i Slavii a Plzni! Klokani disponují ještě o píď obdivuhodnější šňůrou, poslední soutěžní prohru zapsali 10. srpna doma s Jabloncem.
Čtyři ligové bitvy následují v neděli. Ve 13:00 hraje Zlín s Ostravou, od 15:30 pak Olomouc s Jabloncem a Plzeň proti Hradci Králové. Zlatým hřebem kola bude derby mezi Spartou a Slavií, které startuje v nedělních 18:30.
