O Real Madrid venceu o Villarreal por 3 a 1 neste sábado (4), no Santiago Bernabéu, e retomou a liderança provisória da LaLiga 2025/26. A partida foi marcada pelo brilho de Vinicius Junior, que marcou dois gols e comandou o time de Xabi Alonso em uma exibição de gala. Kylian Mbappé, sempre decisivo, completou o placar e chegou à impressionante marca de nove partidas consecutivas balançando as redes.
O resultado levou os Merengues aos 21 pontos, ultrapassando o Barcelona, que joga neste domingo contra o Sevilla e ainda pode recuperar a liderança. O Villarreal, que vinha de bons resultados, permanece em terceiro lugar, com 16 pontos.
Primeiro tempo: domínio e frustração
O primeiro tempo no Bernabéu foi movimentado, mas sem gols. O Real Madrid dominou a posse de bola e finalizou 12 vezes, mas esbarrou em uma defesa sólida do Villarreal, comandada por Arnau Tenas. As principais jogadas vieram pelo lado esquerdo, com Vinicius Junior e o jovem Franco Mastantuano pressionando a linha defensiva amarela.

Na volta do intervalo, Xabi Alonso cobrou mais intensidade, e o time respondeu imediatamente. Logo aos 47 minutos, Vinicius Junior recebeu na entrada da área após desvio de Mbappé, cortou o marcador e finalizou firme, de perna direita, para fazer 1 a 0.
O gol incendiou o Bernabéu e deu confiança ao brasileiro, que viveu um jogo de redenção após semanas de críticas. Pouco depois, aos 69 minutos, Vini foi derrubado dentro da área por Mouriño e ele próprio pediu para bater o pênalti. Mbappé, cobrador oficial, entregou a bola ao companheiro para ajudá-lo a retomar o protagonismo. O camisa 7 cobrou com categoria, rasteiro, deslocando o goleiro — 2 a 0 Real Madrid.
Foi a primeira vez desde janeiro que Vinicius marcou dois gols em uma mesma partida com a camisa do clube, repetindo o feito obtido contra o RB Salzburg na Champions League. O brasileiro foi eleito melhor em campo, coroando uma atuação que combinou técnica, coragem e liderança.
Villarreal reage, mas não resiste
Mesmo com a desvantagem, o Submarino Amarelo não se entregou. Aos 73 minutos, o atacante Georges Mikautadze aproveitou espaço na área e bateu cruzado, vencendo Courtois e diminuindo para 2 a 1. O gol silenciosa por alguns instantes o estádio, e o Villarreal chegou a ensaiar pressão.
Porém, a reação durou pouco. Aos 77 minutos, Santiago Mouriño foi expulso ao receber o segundo cartão amarelo em lance polêmico, muito contestado pelo time visitante. Com um a mais, o Real retomou o controle total da partida.
E aos 81 minutos, veio o golpe final: Brahim Díaz tabelou rápido com Mbappé, que finalizou de primeira, no centro da área, para marcar o terceiro e encerrar o jogo em 3 a 1. O francês segue sua sequência impressionante — já são nove partidas seguidas marcando gols — e consolidou a vitória merengue.
