Sporting e FC Porto têm mais valor de mercado

O Benfica foi o clube português que mais dinheiro investiu na construção do atual plantel. No total, os encarnados desembolsaram 226,9 milhões de euros para contratarem os jogadores que têm à disposição na equipa principal, o número mais elevado entre as equipas que disputam a edição 2025/26 da Liga Portugal Betclic. O futebolista mais caro à disposição do treinador Bruno Lage chegou à Luz no último mercado de verão: trata-se de Richard Ríos, médio colombiano pelo qual as águias pagaram ao Palmeiras 27 milhões de euros.
Ainda assim, e tal como se pode verificar na imagem disponibilizada abaixo, o Benfica está longe de ter o plantel mais valioso do campeonato luso. Na verdade, os encarnados têm apenas a terceira com maior valor de mercado do futebol português, atrás dos rivais Sporting, que ocupa o primeiro lugar, e FC Porto.
De qualquer das formas, o Benfica apresenta uma diferença positiva entre os dois valores, com o seu plantel a valer mais 131,9 milhões de euros do que o que foi despendido para contratá-lo.
Depois de um mercado histórico, no qual bateu todos os recordes, o FC Porto foi o segundo clube que mais investiu no reforço do plantel com que ataca a nova temporada, sendo que o custo dos atletas que fazem parte da primeira equipa azul e branca ao dia de hoje foi de 184 milhões de euros – são menos 207,76 milhões de euros do que o seu valor de mercado atual, que é de 391,8 milhões de euros. O jogador mais caro da equipa orientada por Francesco Farioli foi Samu Aghehowa, cuja contratação custou 32 milhões de euros aos cofres dos dragões.
Por sua vez, o Sporting, vigente bicampeão nacional, tem apenas o terceiro plantel mais caro da Liga Portuguesa, apesar de a equipa leonina ser a mais valiosa da atualidade no nosso país. Para contratar os seus atuais jogadores, o emblema de Alvalade desembolsou 183,5 milhões de euros sendo que os pupilos de Rui Borges estão avaliados num total de 456,5 milhões de euros – estamos, desta forma, perante uma diferença de 273 milhões de euros entre o valor investido e o valor de mercado, a mais significativa verificada em Portugal. O maior investimento do atual plantel dos verde e brancos foi o que o clube fez na contratação de Luis Suárez, que teve um custo inicial de 22,2 milhões de euros.
