The Los Angeles Dodgers eliminated the Philadelphia Phillies in the National League Division Series after an error by reliever Orion Kerkering. The game was tied at one apiece, and with that unfortunate play by the pitcher, everything went downhill for Philadelphia.
And when the press conference began, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts took a moment to praise his opponents, the Phillies, giving them credit for what they did during this series.

“First of all, I’ll start.” “I want to congratulate the Phillies on a tremendous season. A first-class organization… The fourth game was a war, a battle. An instant classic game and I just want to congratulate them on a great year.”
This is what Roberts said about his opponent, whom they defeated 3-1 in the series.
Both the Dodgers and the Phillies rank as two of the best teams so far this decade. The Dodgers are particularly noteworthy, with a 551-319 record, while Philadelphia has a 478-392 record
One of the big differences between the two teams is that the Phillies have not been able to reach a World Series since 2008, while the Angels have already been crowned twice in recent years. It would be no surprise if they were to make it to another Fall Classic and win it.
Dodgers await opponent
The Dodgers are waiting for their next opponent to play in the NLCS, which will be between the Milwaukee Brewers and the Chicago Cubs. The series is currently tied at two games apiece
For now, the Dodgers are taking things easy as they prepare for their next matchup. In the meantime, they are still enjoying the elimination of Philadelphia
