Hulk Hogan comes to Hooters’ rescue, makes offer to buy iconic restaurant chain
WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan is stepping into the business ring once again, this time aiming to revitalize the iconic Hooters brand. Through his company, Real American Brands, Hogan has announced plans to acquire the intellectual property of Hooters, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March 2025. Rather than operating the restaurant chain, Hogan's vision focuses on leveraging the Hooters name for merchandise, food, and beverage products. Real American Brands intends to license the Hooters name back to existing restaurant operators and distribute branded products through various channels, including retailers and entertainment venues.
