Für den FC Bayern war das Aus in der Champions League eine Zäsur: Die Meisterschaft kann zwar noch geholt werden, aber mit Thomas Müller verabschiedet sich die größte Vereinslegende vom Klub.

Aber auf anderen Positionen braucht es genauso einen Umbruch – und der fällt groß aus.

Die Eigengewächse Aleksandar Pavlovic (20) und Josip Stanisic (25) sind bei den neuen Bayern fest eingeplant. Bei anderen Profis wird hinterfragt: Wer hat noch den Hunger, wer hat die Qualität, um eben auch in den wichtigen K.o.-Spielen Top-Leistung zu zeigen? Dabei sind nur wenige Namen unantastbar.

Intern fällt immer wieder das Wort „Blutauffrischung“. Denn so ehrenwert der fast sichere Meistertitel dieses Jahr ist: Auf Dauer will Bayern in Europa wieder konstant zu den Top 4 gehören. Die Mannschaft sei zu satt durch viele Titel der Vergangenheit. Und dann eben teilweise in den entscheidenden Momenten qualitativ nicht gut genug.

Außen vor bei der Diskussion sind nur neun Spieler: Manuel Neuer (39) und Stellvertreter Jonas Urbig (21) im Tor. In der Abwehr der verletzte Alphonso Davies (24) und Stanisic. Im Mittelfeld Joshua Kimmich (30), der gerade seinen Vertrag verlängert hat, dazu Jamal Musiala (22) und Pavlovic. Im Angriff Michael Olisé (23), der beste Neuzugang der Saison, der allerdings auf höchstem Niveau noch reifen muss, sowie Harry Kane (31).

Ein Abschied des Engländers ein Jahr vor Ablauf des Kontrakts 2027 ist allerdings vorstellbar, Kane könnte im Sommer 2026 für festgeschriebene 65 Mio. Euro gehen.

Zu den Unantastbaren beim FC Bayern gehört auch der sich zurückkämpfende Dayot Upamecano (26). Bei ihm wurden freie Gelenkkörper im linken Knie festgestellt, eine OP war nötig. Upamecano ist allerdings bereits wieder ins Individualtraining eingestiegen.
