Wie der Transfer-Insider Fabrizio Romano berichtet, absolvierte der DFB-Keeper am Donnerstag erstmals wieder normal das Mannschaftstraining. Er soll sogar im Kader für das wichtige Copa-del-Rey-Finale gegen Real Madrid am Samstag (22 Uhr, live bei BILD und SPORT BILD) stehen.
Anderen Medienberichten zufolge soll ter Stegen die medizinische Freigabe und damit grünes Licht am Freitag erhalten, um dann mit der Mannschaft zum Endspiel nach Sevilla zu reisen.
Dass er tatsächlich zum Einsatz kommt, erscheint aber höchst unwahrscheinlich.

Die Bosse hatten nach der schweren Verletzung von ter Stegen (iss der Patellasehne im rechten Knie) Wojciech Szczęsny (35) verpflichtet. Der Pole hatte seine Karriere eigentlich im vergangenen Sommer bei Juventus Turin schon beendet. Doch dann fragte Barcelona in höchster Not bei Sczesny an und der Torwart lieferte: In 25 Pflichtspielen kassierte er nur 24 Gegentore, spielte 13 Mal zu null. Mit ihm verlor der 35-Jährige kein Spiel in der Liga.

Die Belohnung: Szczęsny bekommt einen neuen Vertrag für die kommende Saison. Eigentlich sollte er nur bis zum Ende der Spielzeit bleiben. Bedeutet jetzt aber: Szczęsny wird seine Fußball-Rente erneut verschieben.
Bald dürfte aber auch ter Stegen wieder zwischen den Pfosten des FC Barcelona überzeugen.
