The death of Virginia Giuffre, a leading figure in exposing Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking ring, has sparked controversy, with her father, Sky Roberts, publicly rejecting the official claim that she took her own life.
In an emotional interview with Piers Morgan, Roberts expressed disbelief over his daughter’s passing, stating, “There’s no way that she did. Somebody got to her.” Giuffre was found unresponsive at her home in Australia last month. First responders attempted emergency aid, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shortly after, her family released a statement confirming she had taken her own life, describing her as a “fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking.” However, Roberts remains unconvinced. He pointed to past videos in which Giuffre explicitly stated that if she ever died by suicide, people should not believe it and should push for an investigation.
A legacy of advocacy
Authorities have determined there is nothing suspicious about her passing, but Roberts continues to call for a deeper probe into the circumstances surrounding her death. Because of all the stories told about the people that surrounded her, the reason for her father to believe something else is going on is still present for him.
Giuffre was one of the first individuals to publicly accuse Epstein and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, of sex trafficking. She alleged that she was just 16 years old when Maxwell recruited her into Epstein’s network as well as many other young women did.
Her death at 41 years old has left many questioning whether more should be done to investigate the circumstances surrounding her passing. There is no pause in her father’s work to try and solve this issue, even when the police and the investigators have said that there is no more to search for.
