Skromný stadion ve Vyškově nepřipadá pro potřeby profesionálního fotbalu v úvahu, a jak už Sport.cz dřív informoval, ani známý fotbalový stánek v pět kilometrů vzdálených Drnovicích už nesplňuje kvůli absenci osvětlení podmínky pro druhou ligu. Potřebnou rekonstrukci už před rokem neposvětilo zastupitelstvo obce Drnovice, které fotbalový stánek vlastní. Své rozhodnutí potvrdilo v minulém týdnu.
„I vzhledem k umístění stadionu v centru vesnice je nereálné sloučení profesionálního fotbalu s běžným chodem obce. Ta není přirozeně nachystána na zátěž pro případnou první fotbalovou ligu. Přes všeobecnou snahu k dohodě a po zvážení všech okolností musíme oznámit, že profesionální fotbal v regionu pokračovat nemůže,“ poznamenal Chalupecký.
Aktuálně třetí tým druholigové tabulky tak místo boje o baráž patrně čeká prodej licence a starost o budoucnost. Varianta stěhování do Znojma totiž padla, i tamější stadion potřebuje rekonstrukci k tomu, aby sloužil k účelům první ligy, kam američtí majitelé Vyškova ze společnosti Blue Crow Sports míří.
„Bylo to téma, ale narazili jsme tam na stejný problém, co se týče infrastruktury, jako v Drnovicích. Nesplňuje podmínky pro ligu. Můžu ukončit spekulace o přesunu klubu do Znojma,“ uvedl už před měsícem generální ředitel klubu Zbyněk Zbořil.
Vedení ale ujišťuje, že fotbal ve Vyškově neskončí. „Jen zkrátka nejsme schopni v našem regionu splnit podmínky pro profesionální fotbal, tedy první či druhou ligu. O tom, do jaké soutěže se od nové sezony zařadí Městský fotbalový klub Vyškov, se bude jednat v následujících týdnech,“ dodal Chalupecký.
Do konce sezony sehraje Vyškov v Drnovicích ještě minimálně pět duelů. Ročník si teoreticky může prodloužit v baráži o první ligu.
