Slavia v uplynulé sezoně na pozici wingbeka měla Malicka Dioufa s Davidem Douděrou, ovšem kvalitní alternativa, která zvládne více postů, jí scházela. A právě to je doména Cadua, který české prostředí dobře zná – po dvou letech v Pardubicích odehrál další tři sezony v Plzni, v sezoně 2022/2023 hostoval z Viktorky v Baníku.
Zájem o setrvání v české lize potvrdil i samotný Cadu. Nabízela se sice varianta návratu do Brazílie nebo angažmá u slovenského šampiona Slovanu Bratislava, ale podle všeho zůstane v české lize a zamíří do hlavního města.
Pokud k přestupu skutečně dojde, půjde už o třetí citelný přesun z Plzně do Edenu v posledních letech. Po brankáři Jindřichu Staňkovi a útočníkovi Tomáši Chorém by univerzál Cadu rozšířil tuto výraznou přestupovou stopu.
Mimochodem, Slavia má dlouhodobý zájem i o jinou plzeňskou oporu – Pavla Šulce. O jeho přestupu se spekulovalo už v průběhu jara, avšak jeho příchod se zdá téměř nereálný vzhledem k jeho ambicím na zahraniční angažmá i třaskavosti samotného transferu.
Pokud se přestup Cadua skutečně dotáhne, Slavia získá do kádru zkušeného ligového hráče s univerzálním využitím, což trenér Trpišovský má v oblibě. Pro Cadua by navíc šlo o krok vpřed – v příští sezoně by si totiž s jistotou zahrál hlavní část Ligy mistrů.
