Ben Affleck has revealed in an interview with GQ which is the film that he would not like to repeat. With 61 films under his belt, there is one in particular that, although he is happy with his performance, is not something he wants to do again.
The actor is specifically referring towhen he played Batman for DC: “I loved ‘Batman v. Superman’. And I liked the little bit I came out in ‘The Flash’, and working for a day or two with Viola Davis in ‘Suicide Squad,” he began to explain.

In fact, he believes he did a good job as Bruce Wayne: “In creative terms, I’m convinced that I like the ideas and ambition we put into that old, broken, hurt Bruce Wayne. And that’s something we really aspired to in the first movie.”
However, he would not return to that moment in his film life: “I wouldn’t want to repeat it. It was full of misunderstandings between schedules, misunderstandings and unfulfilled expectations”.

One of the culprits for Affleck not having fond memories of his time at DC is Warner Bros.: “At that time I wasn’t bringing anything particularly positive to the equation either. I had my own problems, considerable problems, in that process and at that time”.
Addictions that he already explained in 2020 in the New York Times: “For a long time, I drank in a relatively normal way. What happened is that I started to drink more and more as my marriage (to Jennifer Garner) was falling apart,” with his worst moment being the filming of ‘Justice League‘.
“Whatever my failings as an actor, you can watch the movies and judge. But my other failings, why I had a bad experience, is because I was bringing a lot of unhappiness to work. I didn’t bring a lot of positive energy to the equation. I didn’t cause trouble: I showed up, did my job and went home. But you have to do things a little bit better,” he said.
