Herning (od našeho zpravodaje) – Není to tak, že by v jejich statistikách na mistrovství světa zatím „svítila“ smutná nula či dvě „vajíčka“, jak rádi v hokejovém žargonu říkají hráči. Leč před klíčovými zápasy, které přijdou příští týden, je důležité, aby se palebná síla rozprostřela na víc útoků. Právě od spojení Zadiny s Nečasem (na centru mají Špačka) trenéři už dopředu očekávali, že zavzpomínají na spolupráci s mládežnických reprezentací.
„Něco tam je, ale dvacítky a mužský hokej – to je rozdíl. Mluvíme spolu, chceme na tom stavět a hrát lépe,“ přiznává Zadina.
Sám vnímá, že se Nečas potřebuje adaptovat na hokejové „letiště“. Zatímco Zadina je na široké hřiště zvyklý z poslední sezony ve Švýcarsku, Nečas přilétl před týdnem z NHL. „A těch pár metrů dělá rozdíl,“ říká Zadina.
Podobně to vnímá i jiný Filip, obránce Hronek. Vzhledem ke své roli v NHL je momentálně jedničkou české defenzivy, na šampionátu si ve čtyřech duelech připsal už pět asistencí, přesto cítí rezervy. „Ještě to není ono, mohlo by to být lepší. Člověk kolikrát situace vidí jinak. Někdy si myslí, že je času víc a pak je zase ho méně. Překlápí se to tam a zpátky,“ řekl Hronek.
MS v hokeji 2025
88. ročník mistrovství světa v hokeji je na programu v termínu od 9. do 25. května 2025. Hostí jej Švédsko a Dánsko, konkrétně města Stockholm a Herning.
Je ovšem otázkou, jestli i jeho progres bude viditelný hned v duelu s Kazachstánem, který se pří vší úctě k soupeři řadí k těm poněkud „zbytečným“. „Chceme zlepšit určité věci, ale bylo by dobré, kdyby přišli lidi. Bez nich v prázdné hale je to těžší.“
Nadějí je, že na poslední zápasy skupiny s úterním vrcholem proti Americe by zase mohly dorazit tisíce českých fandů.
