La clasificación de la Liga se va colocando ante la recta final. Seguramente, en un orden natural. El Barça es el favorito porque tiene más puntos, juega mejor y recibirá al Real Madrid en su casa, con la diferencia de goles a favor. El Madrid es candidato por definición. Juega peor que el Barça, ofrece dudas, hay veces que necesita arrastrarse para salir de un apuro pero siempre está. El Atlético ha abandonado la pelea. Ha protagonizado un deso un desplome que no se veía venir a un mes vista. Pero desde la tanda de penaltis en la Champions es un alma en pena.

El equipo de Simeone ha ido de un revolcón a otro en tres partidos clave que, curiosamente, tenía encarrilados. Ganaba al Madrid en Europa a los treinta segundos. Tenía al Barça maniatado, con 2-0, en la Liga, a falta de veinte minutos. Y se imponía al Espanyol en un partido para tomar aire y replantearse la situación. Pues bien, no ganó ninguno de los tres.

La gestión del resultado ante el Madrid fue desastrosa y eso provocó un efecto dominó que le ha dejado fuera de la Champions y de la Liga. Veremos qué pasa en la Copa, el miércoles. Pero las señales que emite el equipo son más de estar en caída libre que de pelear por lo que aún le queda.

Apisonadora azulgrana

El Barça ganó al Girona por aplastamiento. Los goles que redondearon el marcador llegaron al final e incluso el partido se metió por los vericuetos de un 1-1 que era engañoso. El Barça nunca debió pasar por ese trance porque superó al Girona en todo momento, con una presión agobiante y la creatividad de Lamine Yamal. Sus jugadas, como las de Messi, son de dibujos animados. Ejecuta suertes que están fuera de catálogo y tiene un poder de intimidación que hace mella en cualquier defensa.

Que el Barça ganase el partido fue sólo una cuestión de tiempo. Flick lleva camino de convertirse en el hombre del campeonato. Pocas veces un equipo ha sido tan fiel a un libreto durante tanto tiempo.

Un Madrid a su manera

El Madrid no jugó bien pero ganó. Marca de la casa. Esta vez, el saldo arbitral le salió a favor. El secretario de la junta puede guardarse su bolígrafo. No tendrá que firmar comunicado alguno.

El equipo estuvo distraído, como tantas otras veces, pero fue letal. Mbappé incorporó a su repertorio un disparo lejano, contra la deshecha barrera del Leganés, y un panenka en el gol de penalti. Sigue sumando y demostrando que las cosas son más fáciles con él en el campo. El estajanovismo de Bellingham y poco más dejó el Madrid ante la exigencia de lo que le viene por delante.
