Este evento nos afetou profundamente, sentimos muito, pensamos em seus entes queridos e expressamos nossas sinceras condolências”, comunicou o FK Pardubice, da República Tcheca.
Leandro se formou na base da Ponte Preta e foi cedido ao São Bernardo FC em 2018, quando estreou profissionalmente com apenas 17 anos. Em 2022, disputou a Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior. Também teve passagens por Fluminense, Oeste, Bahia, CA Diadema e União Mogi até se transferir ao futebol tcheco, em 2023.
O atacante a chegou a ser emprestado ao Samgurali Tsalbulko, da Geórgia, e SK Prostejov, da República Tcheca, em que fez seu último jogo, em 14 de março. Depois disso, havia sido devolvido ao FK Pardubice e inserido no time B.
