A final da Liga dos Campeões entre Paris Saint-Germain e Inter de Milão, às 16h de amanhã, representará a quinta vez em que Munique sediará a principal partida do futebol europeu. Ao longo da história, a cidade da Alemanha se notabilizou por consagrar campeões inéditos. Essa é uma escrita com a qual os franceses contam para conquistar seu primeiro título continental, diante dos italianos, que já levantaram o troféu três vezes.
As três primeiras finais aconteceram no Estádio Olímpico de Munique, enquanto a mais recente foi disputada na Allianz Arena, palco da decisão desta temporada. Já na primeira década do século XXI, a Allianz Arena foi construída para receber partidas da Copa do Mundo de 2006, e foi no moderno estádio que o Chelsea alcançou o topo da Europa pela primeira vez — com requintes de crueldade, derrubando o próprio dono da casa: o Bayern de Munique.
