Zinedine Zidane (51) war früher der Magier des Fußballs, tanzte mit dem Ball wie kein Zweiter. Jetzt hat es dem Ex-Weltmeister ein anderer Spieler angetan. Bei einer Veranstaltung in Paris sang der Franzose Lobeshymnen auf Barcelona-Star Lamine Yamal (17).

Es ist nicht der erste Ritterschlag für Yamal. Barcelona-Coach Flick bezeichnete ihn bereits als „Genie“, Spaniens Nationaltrainer Luis de la Fuente sprach von „göttlicher Magie“. Jetzt verneigt sich auch der dreifache Weltfußballer Zidane vor dem Jahrhunderttalent.
