‘El Hormiguero’ ha comenzado la semana, y el mes de junio, con la visita este lunes del actor Jean Reno, quien ha presentado su primera novela, que lleva por título ‘Emma bajo el cielo de Omán’. Se trata de una trepidante novela de aventuras en tierras lejanas y misteriosas que rebosa pasión y sensibilidad y que está protagonizada por una mujer imposible de olvidar.
Jean Reno presenta su primera novela en ‘El Hormiguero’
Pablo Motos, después de dar la bienvenida y saludar a Jean Reno, ha tenido curiosidad por saber qué es lo primero que hace cuando visita a España. “Comer jamón, beber vino tinto y mirar a las mujeres“, ha afirmado Juan Moreno y Herrera-Jiménez, que es como se llama en realidad Jean Reno. A continuación, el conductor de ‘El Hormiguero’ le ha preguntado si es cierto que el origen de ‘Emma bajo el cielo de Omán’ fue un masaje. “Sí, fue un masaje hace tiempo en Francia, cerca del mar. A mi mujer le dieron un masaje y me dijo: ‘Me ha dado un masaje una muchacha, ves a verla porque es extraordinaria’. Entonces, fui por la tarde. La masajista tenía unas manos formidables y pensé que Emma tenía algo en las manos y empezó la historia de esa mujer en mi cabeza“, ha apuntado el francés, que ha agregado que en la novela, Emma, cada vez que da un masaje, lee el cuerpo de la persona a la que se lo da y descifra códigos secretos.

El presentador del espacio de entretenimiento de Atresmedia que se emite de lunes a jueves a partir de las 21.45 horas en Antena 3 ha comentado que en la novela Emma tiene mucha energía y se la transmite a sus pacientes, lo que ha llevado al primer invitado de la semana a recordar una relación muy especial que tuvo con una mujer. “Yo tuve una historia con una mujer durante 18 meses basada en la piel. Cada vez que la tocaba, me entraba un calor terrible. Era solamente eso y nos separamos porque no había nada más que eso, una relación basada en la piel“, ha manifestado Jean Reno. “El amor es un misterio y la pareja, para mí, es un misterio“, ha agregado.

Pablo Motos ha querido conocer quién fue la primera persona a la que Jean Reno enseñó su novela. “Se lo enseñé a mi mujer cuando llevaba 80 páginas y me dijo que continuara. Me sorprendió mucho porque esperaba que me dijera: ‘Déjalo y vete a comprar patatas para mediodía”, ha confesado el actor nacido el 30 de julio de 1948 en Casablanca, cuando pertenecía al protectorado francés de Marruecos. El de Requena le ha preguntado a continuación si le costó escribir el final, las últimas líneas, de ‘Emma bajo el cielo de Omán’. “Cuesta siempre y vas para delante y para detrás, para delante y para detrás. Hasta que te cansas y dices: ‘Tengo que soltar la novela’. Y ahí se lo mandé al editor y me dijo que era formidable. Cuando me lo dije me quedé con cara de tonto“, ha admitido el ahora también novelista.

El éxito de ‘Emma bajo el cielo de Omán’ es tal, que va a ser adaptada a la televisión. “Van a hacer una serie de ocho episodios del libro, pero yo no puedo a participar porque estoy preparando un espectáculo musical sobre mi vida que voy a hacer el año que viene en Japón“, ha destacado Jean Reno, quien tiene un vínculo muy especial con el país asiático. “Amo Japón, es un país que me gusta mucho y he trabajado 17 años con Lexus y Toyota”, ha remarcado. Pablo Motos ha opinado que los japoneses son muy raros. “Sí, es verdad, son raros, pero te miran con mucha dulzura, y son muy solitarios. Por ejemplo, para ellos es muy difícil tocarse entre ellos. Cuando los miro, me dan mucha pena“, ha valorado el intérprete de 76 años.
La anécdota de Jean Reno con Johnny Hallyday
Jean Reno, acto seguido, ha rememorado una anécdota que protagonizó con el cantante y compositor Johnny Hallyday. El invitado de ‘El Hormiguero’ ha narrado cómo reaccionó su compatriota cuando le dijo que se había comprado un Ferrari. “A Johnny no le gustaban las cosas materiales, le gustaban el amor, el arte, el espíritu… Y yo me compré un Ferrari, fui a su casa y le dije que me había comprado un Ferrari. Y me miró y a los 30 segundos me dijo: ‘Yo he tenido siete Ferraris’. Me pegó un tortazo y me dijo que me fuera con mi Ferrari“, ha recordado.
La reflexión de Jean Reno sobre la fama
El de Requena ha interrogado al primer invitado de la semana sobre si la fama hace que uno se vuelva idiota. “Sí, claro, enseguida. Y el gran problema es que antes de ser famoso, cuando hablas, nadie te escucha. Cuando eres famoso vienes a ‘El Hormiguero’, todo el mundo te escucha, y si te lo crees, te conviertes en un idiota enseguida“, ha aseverado Jean Reno, que ha explicado a Pablo Motos qué hace él para que no le afecte la fama. “Yo soy de Andalucía, sé que seguramente me voy a morir un día y tengo seis hijos que no me escuchan. Tengo ese carácter y yo no considero que un actor o un cantante sea más importante que un cirujano que te opera del corazón y te salva la vida“, ha subrayado.
