O comentarista Arnaldo Ribeiro levantou questionamentos sobre o Departamento Médico do São Paulo. No programa G4 Band Sports desta quinta-feira (12), o jornalista falou sobre a situação dos jogadores lesionados no Tricolor e os tempos de recuperação. Assim, destacou que a falta de eficiência dos médicos tricolores pode afetar os resultados do Soberano em campo.
A bancada do G4 Band Sports comentava sobre como os clubes vão aproveitar a parada do calendário para o Mundial de Clubes. Assim, Arnaldo Ribeiro aproveitou para linkar o assunto com a situação do São Paulo. Ele e seus colegas já estavam concordando que a maioria dos clubes do Brasileirão vão usar a pausa para acelerar a recuperação de atletas lesionados. No entanto, ele destacou que “no caso do São Paulo não há previsão de nenhum jogador sair do DM nos próximos 10 dias, por exemplo”.
De acordo com a análise de Arnaldo Ribeiro, “o São Paulo não está recuperando jogadores”. O jornalista explicou que o clube tem duas lesões musculares, de Oscar e Marcos Antônio. Além disso, ele relembrou que Ferreirinha está parado com fascite plantar, enquanto Lucas, Calleri e Ruan têm problemas no joelho. “Tem de tudo (todos os tipos de lesão), a gente entende, mas não voltar ninguém (prejudica o time)”, completou o comentarista.

Arnaldo Ribeiro ainda informou que Lucas e Oscar devem retornar aos gramados daqui a um mês. “É só depois do Mundial”, disse o jornalista. Oscar fez seu último jogo no último dia 24 de maio, há 19 dias atrás. Enquanto isso, Lucas Moura não joga desde 6 de maio, 1 mês e 6 dias atrás. O fato de serem liberados apenas daqui a um mês chocou Arnaldo Ribeiro, que comentou: “não é possível que uma lesão muscular tire um jogador por tanto tempo”.
O São Paulo vive um ano atípico com relação a lesões, registrando 17 contusões até o momento em 2025, e temos apenas 6 meses. Em 2024, no ano inteiro, os jogadores do elenco tricolor foram ao DM 22 vezes no total. Enquanto isso, em 2023 foram 24 lesões computadas, sendo esse o ano mais complicado para o clube.
São Paulo pode brigar para não cair?
Parceiro de bancada de Arnaldo Ribeiro, Paulo Massini alertou sobre o perigo que o São Paulo corre se não recuperar seus atletas. “Se o São Paulo voltar dessa parada sem Lucas e Oscar, vai brigar para não cair”, afirmou de forma categórica. O comentário foi aceito pelos outros integrantes do programa, sem discussão sobre o tópico.
O São Paulo está na 13ª posição do Campeonato Brasileiro, com 12 pontos conquistados. Apenas dois pontos separam o Tricolor do primeiro time dentro da zona de rebaixamento, o Fortaleza. Em 11 partidas até aqui, o Soberano venceu apenas duas, o que mostra um desempenho abaixo do comum. Nesta quinta-feira (12), o SPFC pode respirar na tabela se vencer o Vasco em casa.
