Der anvisierte Sancho-Transfer ist Teil einer breiten Aufräumaktion bei den „Red Devils“: Trainer Amorim will die Offensive neu aufstellen – und dabei radikal aussortieren. Neben Sancho stehen auch Alejandro Garnacho, Antony und Marcus Rashford auf der Streichliste.

Doch das ist erst der Anfang: Auch Bryan Mbeumo von Brentford steht unmittelbar vor einem Wechsel nach Manchester. Ein zweites Angebot über mehr als 70 Millionen Euro liegt bereits auf dem Tisch – Brentfords Schmerzgrenze dürfte bald erreicht sein.

The Pittsburgh Pirates came into Friday's game versus the Texas Rangers with the second-worst record in the National League at 30-46. In the first inning, center fielder Oneil Cruz looked as if the losing had worn him down. Or he was frustrated at making another error at his position.On a Sam Haggerty single to center, Cruz ran over to field the ball but it went under his glove.
