‘All’s well that ends well’. How much truth is in this William Shakespeare phrase; anything that results in a positive outcome, will be perceived as a completely good process, from start to finish. That certainly can be said about Nick Sirianni‘s ‘aura’ this days.
A Super Bowl champion coach, who has drived the franchise to buy into his idea, with his players and coaching staff completely invested in the culture and revered by one of the most demanding and intense fanbases in the NFL. A year ago, they were hunting for his head, starving for a change in ‘Philly’, today, Sirianni ranks among the top coaches in the league.

Where does Nick Sirianni rank as a head coach in the NFL?
According to Brandon Austin and his ranking of the NFL head coaches, as it stands today, with a little less than a month for the start of training camp and two and a half months for the 2025 season to begin, Sirianni is the fourth best coach in the NFL.
One can argue against the ranking, but the facts speak for the Eagles‘ coach succesful resume. In four seasons commanding the Philadelphia franchise, Sirianni has reached two Super Bowls and won one, last February‘s pummeling of the Kansas City Chiefs in New Orleans. Also worth to mention, they went to the playoffs every season under Nick.
In his four years at the City of Brotherly Love, Sirianni‘s schemes have contributed to making the team a tough beat. The Eagles have ranked top 12 in offense every year and, in this past Super Bowl winning season, they had the best defense in the NFL.
It all sounds like ‘Philly‘ and Sirianni were on cloud nine these past 4 years, but it wasn’t like that at all.
Sirianni overcomes defeat and scrutiny to rise to the top
What impresses the most about Sirianni‘s success in Philadelphia, it’s that he changed from being in the hot seat to a savior in just a year. From the last months of the 2023 season to the first ones of 2024, the Eagles‘ head coach’s name was constantly brought up in controversial storylines.
Reported feuds with players including team leaders like Jalen Hurts, Jalen Carter and A.J. Brown. Exchange of words with rival’s fans and even Eagles’ fans. A carrousel of alternating offensive and defensive coordinators. Every type of adversity one can imagine, brought by external variables or by Sirianni’s own decisions, he suffered it.
What did the charm? Being real, natural, being yourself. When Nick Sirianni expresses, he does it as he would without the cameras on, that’s the culture the organization has adopted. Everybody listens, everbody gives their opinion, and everybody has that one ultimate goal in mind. Sirianni‘s body of work, adaptability, forthrightness and intelligence rewarded him not just individually, but to all the Eagles world.

- Buffalo Bills | 0.716 %

- Dallas Cowboys | 0.632 %
