Paul Skenes, the young star for the Pittsburgh Pirates, has been making a name for himself on the mound. Although his outing against the Minnesota Twins on Friday didn’t result in a win, it was a performance worth noting.
Despite the 2-1 loss, Skenes demonstrated his impressive skills, particularly his ability to strike out batters. However, one moment during the game, involving his girlfriend Olivia Dunne, appeared to throw him off his rhythm and added an unexpected twist to the evening.

What made this milestone even more special was the fact that Skenes was in control for much of the game. He kept the Twins hitless for the first three innings and struck out the side in the second inning on just 12 pitches.
