Hulk Hogan, one of the most recognizable names in the history of professional wrestling, has died at the age of 71.
The legendary wrestler, whose real name was Terry Bollea, passed away peacefully at his home in Clearwater, Florida, according to multiple reports.
The news of Hogan‘s death was first confirmed by TMZ Sports, and later verified by Fox News. At the time of his passing, Hogan was surrounded by close friends and family.
As of this writing, the exact cause of death has not been publicly disclosed, though representatives confirmed it was due to natural causes and that no foul play was suspected.
Hogan‘s passing marks the end of an era for wrestling fans who grew up watching the man in the red and yellow tear off his shirt, flex his muscles, and deliver his iconic leg drop to thunderous ovations around the world.
The rise of Hulkamania
Hulk Hogan‘s career spanned more than four decades and played a pivotal role in transforming professional wrestling into a global entertainment spectacle.
