Lucas Paquetá dificilmente será reforço do Flamengo para a sequência da temporada. Depois de obter resultado positivo com a justiça inglesa envolvendo casa de apostas, tudo levava a crer que o jogador voltaria ao time carioca. Contudo, a possibilidade maior é que o atleta siga atuando na Premier League, mas no Manchester City.
Segundo informações de Jorge Nicola, o West Ham até topa a transferência do brasileiro de 27 anos, mas por uma condição financeira que ultrapassaria todos os limites do que os cariocas pretendiam pagar pelo meio-campista.
“Não é novidade que o Flamengo adoraria contratar Lucas Paquetá. O fato de ele estar completamente absolvido daquele risco de punição por manipulações de resultados em apostas esportivas permite que ele seja contratado, mas o West Ham pede 50 milhões de libras (equivalente a R$ 366 milhões de reais), grana fora da realidade do clube carioca”, conta Nicola.
Longe do Flamengo, Paquetá pode parar no City
Desejo antigo dos Cityzens, Paquetá segue na mesa do clube inglês que estaria disposto a incluir um atleta do atual elenco para ganhar um ‘desconto’ do West Ham na negociação. Trata-se de Grealish, que perdeu espaço com o técnico espanhol.
“Para piorar, existe uma chance real de Paquetá virar reforço do Manchester City. Guardiola tentou a contratação do brasileiro nas últimas três janelas e o Grealish foi oferecido como forma de baratear este acordo. Ao invés de pagar 50 milhões de libras, o City pagaria um valor menor e empurraria Grealish para o time londrino. Hoje a chance do Paquetá ser contratado pelo Flamengo é bastante pequena”, completou.
O técnico do West Ham, Graham Potter, evitou falar sobre especulações no mercado e garantiu que o meia participa normalmente dos treinos na pré-temporada. Ele acredita que o camisa 10 vai permanecer no clube.
“Não há como ter certeza porque qualquer coisa pode acontecer em uma janela de transferências, e com qualquer um. Lucas está feliz e comprometido. É uma pessoa importante no vestiário e no clube. Nós o amamos. Queremos ajudá-lo a desfrutar do futebol”, afirmou o treinador em entrevista coletiva.
Rubro-Negro no mercado
Com as saídas de Gerson e Wesley, a diretoria do Flamengo fez valer o caixa ‘estufado’ e trouxe atletas importantes no cenário internacional como Emerson Royal, Jorginho, Saúl, Samuel Lino e Carrascal. Há ainda a possibilidade de trazer Lucas Beltrán, mas o negócio ainda não avançou.
Além disso, o ge informou na semana passada que um zagueiro também poderá ser contratado. Vale lembrar que, nos últimos dias, foi recusada uma proposta do RB Leipzig, da Alemanha, por Léo Ortiz. A direção imagina que uma nova oferta possa ser enviada pelo defensor.
