Leroy Sané (29) steht am Freitag mit seinem neuen Verein Galatasaray vor dem Pflichtspielauftakt bei Gaziantep. Bislang lief der ehemalige Bayern-Star bereits in zwei Testspielen für Gala auf – jetzt folgt das richtige Debüt. Doch vor seinem Auftakt bremst ausgerechnet ein Ex-BVB-Star die Euphorie – und warnt Sané eindringlich.
Denn: Erdal Keser (64) kennt Galatasaray bestens. Dort war er Spieler und Co-Trainer. Keser weiß, wie der Klub funktioniert. Die feierliche Ankunft Sanés will er daher nicht zu hoch hängen. Im „Kicker“ sagt er: „Wenn die Spieler heute mit ihren Privatmaschinen landen, dann kommen schon mal 20.000 Menschen zum Flughafen“, und ergänzt: „Aber bei der Verabschiedung ist dann meist keiner mehr zu sehen.“

Fußballerisch bringe Sané zwar alles mit. Aber: Keser stellt klar, Sané müsse sich „hier 100-prozentig reinhauen.“ Denn: Bei Galatasaray werde man „als Spieler von der Stimmung getragen – wenn es läuft. Darauf liegt die Betonung.“ Heißt: Wenn es sportlich schlecht läuft, kann es ungemütlich werden.
Das wird es aber auch auf dem Platz. In der türkischen SüperLig „wird teils sehr harter Fußball gespielt, manchmal auch unorthodox, die Gegner bewegen sich nicht so, wie man das sonst erwartet.“
Bezogen auf den deutschen Nationalspieler hat Keser seine Sorgen: „Klar, Sané war auch bei Bayern enge Räume gewohnt, aber ich bin sehr gespannt, wie er mit den manchmal rustikalen Verteidigern klarkommt, die auch noch topmotiviert sein werden gegen ihn.“
Vollends überzeugt ist der Ex-Profi, der zwischen 1980 und 1984 und von 1986 bis 1987 einst 106 Bundesliga-Partien für Borussia Dortmund gemacht hat, nicht.
[–>Er verdeutlicht: „Ich mag Sané als Spieler, aber er ist aus der Distanz betrachtet auch kein ganz einfacher Typ. Er kann Spiele allein entscheiden, doch auf der anderen Seite bietet seine Körpersprache auch viel Angriffsfläche. Dabei ist er einer, der spüren muss, dass er geliebt wird. Dann kann er auch alles zeigen.“
Sané war nach fünf Jahren beim FC Bayern ablösefrei in die Türkei gewechselt. Zuvor hatte er einige Vertragsangebote der Münchner abgelehnt. In Istanbul erhielt der Flügelspieler einen Dreijahresvertrag und sogar die Rückennummer 10.
Den ersten Beweis, dass sich Sané in der Türkei durchsetzen kann, kann er dann am Freitag stellen. Mit einer überzeugenden Leistung könnte er sich bald in die Herzen der Gala-Fans spielen – oder eben nicht.
