Depois de dois jogos sem vencer no Campeonato Brasileiro, o Internacional voltou a conquistar uma vitória na noite deste sábado (9), ao bater o Red Bull Bragantino por 3 a 1, em Bragança Paulista. Ricardo Mathias, garoto da base, foi o grande destaque da equipe gaúcha com dois gols. Alan Patrick, de pênalti, e Pitta, para o Massa Bruta, completaram o placar.
Com os três pontos, o Inter chegou a 24 pontos, alcança momentaneamente a 9ª colocação e deu uma resposta à sua torcida antes de iniciar as oitavas de final da Libertadores contra o Flamengo. O Red Bull Bragantino vive um momento complicado, já que não vence há seis rodadas no Brasileirão e caiu para a 7ª posição, com 27 pontos.
Colorado começa bem e constrói vantagem antes do intervalo
Logo no primeiro tempo, o Internacional conseguiu abrir uma vantagem confortável. Aos sete minutos, Ricardo Mathias já mostrava que seria o protagonista da noite. Em jogada construída pelo lado esquerdo, Wesley cruzou à meia altura, e o centroavante completou para o gol.
O segundo do Colorado saiu aos 32. Wesley, de novo, tentou fazer o cruzamento, mas a bola bateu no braço de Gustavo Marques. O árbitro Felipe Fernandes de Lima precisou do auxílio do VAR para marcar o pênalti. Alan Patrick chamou a responsabilidade e bateu no canto esquerdo, deslocando Cleiton, que pulou para o lado oposto. Com a vantagem, o Colorado passou a explorar os espaços, principalmente pelo lado esquerdo com Bernabei e Wesley.
O Inter foi para o intervalo com dois gols de vantagem, mas, se a vantagem fosse menor, não seria nenhum absurdo. O Red Bull Bragantino acertou três finalizações no gol e exigiu duas defesas importantes de Rochet. Clayton Sampaio ainda tirou uma bola em cima da linha, quando a partida estava 1 a 0. Sem contar as finalizações bem travadas pela dupla de zaga.
Segundo tempo de maior controle colorado
Sem tempo para o adversário respirar, o Colorado chegou ao terceiro gol aos 31 segundos de etapa complementar. Jhon Jhon errou na saída de bola, Bruno Tabata serviu Ricardo Mathias, que, cara a cara com Cleiton, manteve a calma e tocou com categoria para tirar do goleiro.
Aos 10 minutos, o Massa Bruta ensaiou uma reação. Em uma recuperação de bola no campo de ataque, Jhon Jhon deu um belo passe por cima da zaga, e Pitta emendou de primeira ao gol. Rochet ainda chegou a tocar na bola, mas ela morreu no fundo das redes.
Apesar da tentativa de reação do Massa Bruta, o Inter conseguiu administrar bem a vantagem. A equipe gaúcha soube controlar o adversário e não correu riscos reais. Nos 10 minutos finais, Pitta se machucou e Fernando Seabra já havia feito todas as substituições, então os donos da casa terminaram o jogo com um a menos. Borré, que entrou no segundo tempo, perdeu uma grande chance de cabeça aos 40 minutos e chegou a marcar aos 44, mas o gol foi anulado por impedimento.
Ricardo Mathias é exaltado pela torcida
Com Borré e Enner Valencia no banco, Ricardo Mathias foi a opção escolhida por Roger Machado para o comando de ataque e, mais do que correspondeu às expectativas, marcando dois gols. Aos 19 anos, o garoto ganha ainda mais moral com a torcida, que já o pede como titular para o mata-mata da Libertadores.
Questionados pelas temporadas ruins, os atacantes Borré e Valencia foram os principais alvos da torcida, que não quer mais os estrangeiros como as primeiras opções do treinador, mas sim o garoto da base, que resolveu a partida nesta noite.

O Internacional tem, pela frente, o jogo do ano. Na quarta-feira (13), às 21h30, a equipe vai ao Maracanã encarar o Flamengo, pela partida de ida das oitavas de final da Libertadores da América.
