Baleba-Poker spitzt sich zu – jetzt mischt auch Liverpool mit!
Das Tauziehen um Carlos Baleba (21) geht in die nächste Runde – und bekommt eine neue Wendung! Nach Manchester United und Manchester City ist nun auch Liverpool offiziell in den Kampf um Brightons Mittelfeld-Juwel eingestiegen.
Der Kameruner gehört zu den gefragtesten Jungstars der Premier League – und Brighton ist sich seiner Marktposition bewusst: Der Klub glaubt laut Medienberichten, den Spieler für rund 120 Millionen Euro verkaufen zu können!
[–>Für Manchester United könnte das zu einem echten Problem werden. Nach den Verpflichtungen von Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo und Matheus Cunha liegt das Sommerbudget bereits bei rund 230 Millionen Euro – und bislang hat lediglich Marcus Rashford den Verein verlassen.
Ein Baleba-Transfer wäre ein weiterer Mega-Deal – aktuell fehlt den „Red Devils“ jedoch die finanzielle Flexibilität.

Ganz anders sieht es an der Anfield Road aus: Liverpool hat laut „CaughtOffside“ ebenfalls Interesse angemeldet – und dürfte finanziell besser aufgestellt sein. Luis Diaz und Jarell Quansah wurden abgegeben, Darwin Nunez, soll bald folgen. So entstand Platz für einen weiteren Top-Transfer.
Bei den „Reds“ sieht man in Baleba den idealen Spieler für die Zukunft. „CaughtOffside“ schreibt: „Liverpool hält Baleba für eine perfekte Ergänzung ihres Systems, da sie den Umbruch im Mittelfeld weiter vorantreiben.“
Neben United und Liverpool soll auch Tottenham Hotspur im Rennen um den 21-Jährigen sein.
