Olympic gymnast Simone Biles and Chicago Bears player Jonathan Owens shared another romantic moment ahead of the NFL preseason kickoff. Considered one of the most beloved couples in sports, they moved their fans with a scene full of affection and closeness.

Owens, who was selected by the Bears in 2024, didn’t have the debut he hoped for with the team. However, this new campaign brings renewed hope, and Biles has been there every step of the way, posting messages and updates that reflect her unwavering support.

In her latest Instagram post, the Olympic champion shared photos and a video featuring her husband before a game, wishing him luck and giving him a kiss. The clip was captioned with a playful phrase: “bring your wife to work,” making it clear that there’s no better plan for her than being by his side on the field.

Between tenderness and tension on the field

In their first preseason game, the Bears tied 24-24 against the Miami Dolphins, resting most of their starters and without Owens seeing any action. But a few days earlier, Owens was the center of an intense moment during training.

Owens attempted to strip the ball from Johnson with a defensive hit, prompting Johnson to throw the ball back at him. Seconds later, the exchange escalated into shoving, and Johnson ended up taking Owens down to the turf. Teammates and coaches quickly intervened to prevent the situation from getting worse. Despite the tension, Johnson assured there were no hard feelings. Both players continued practicing normally, with no penalties issued.
