England may be the team to beat at the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup – they’ve won 57 of their last 58 test matches — but the U.S. might just be the team to watch thanks to Ilona Maher. Maher, the breakout star from the 2024 Paris Olympics, has been honing her skills in England’s Premiership Women’s Rugby league with the Bristol Bears and continues to be a social media star. You’ll be able to catch Maher playing for Team USA — and every other match of this year’s tournament — on Paramount+. (Select matches will also be simulcast on CBS Sports, including the tournament’s first match between the U.S. and England on August 22 at 2:30 p.m..)

And if you need any additional proof that women’s rugby is having a moment, the Women’s World Cup final, which is scheduled for Sept. 27, has already sold out all 80,000 seats at London’s Twickenham Stadium. Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup.

Is it fixable? As Texas’ offensive struggles continue, tough questions face Steve Sarkisian, Arch Manning

AUSTIN, Texas -- Texas won an SEC game it shouldn't have Saturday night in Lexington. Those aren't my words. Longhorn QB Arch Manning said as much Monday after the Wildcats more than doubled Texas' yardage (395-179) in an overtime loss. But, at least to All-American safety Michael Taaffe postgame, the vibes from the media weren't positive enough. "These questions seem a little bit negative, I'm not going to lie guys, to the offense," Taaffe said postgame sitting next to Manning. "I'll say this, it's freaking hard to win in the SEC … We freaking won. Let's put some smiles on our face. We won. The show goes on." You get it from one of Texas' captains. Emotions are high after a game, and he's protecting his friend. Thing is, this wasn't a one-off result. Texas is averaging just 16.8 points per […]

Upset alert in NFL Week 8? Why these favorites could fall, including Packers vs. Aaron Rodgers

Week 7 was as square as SpongeBob as favorites dominated the slate. In all, favorites covered 11 of the 15 games and went 13-2 straight up, so the dogs certainly weren't barking throughout the weekend. While that doesn't necessarily correlate with Week 8 becoming a comeback story for the dogs, there certainly should be some leveling out in that regard. Week 8 features a smaller collection of games, with six teams on the bye. However, the majority of matchups have spreads of 6.5 or fewer, indicating a number of close contests and the possibility of upsets. Where can those possible upsets be found? Let's highlight a handful of favorites who could be on upset alert this week. NFL odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook. Bet NFL at FanDuel and get $300 in bonus bets with a winning $5 wager.
