Tragedia en una jornada donde todo debería ser diversión. Ha ocurrido en un circo en Alemania. Una acróbata española de 27 años ha muerto después de caerse en su número lo que ha generado una gran consternación entre los presentes.
En ese preciso instante estaban presentes un centenar de personas que presenciaban la función, entre ellas muchas familias con niños… El suceso ocurrió en durante una actuación circense en la ciudad alemana de Bautzen, en el estado de Sajonia, en el este del país.
De repente, y en medio de la actuación, la mujer se precipitó desde una altura de unos cinco metros desde su trapecio y murió en el mismo lugar del accidente.
Según ha informado el el portavoz de la policía local, Stefan Heiduck, “el equipo de intervención en crisis se puso inmediatamente en marcha y atendió a los espectadores y al resto de empleados del circo”. De hecho, y dada la presencia de niños que vieron el suceso, el portavoz de la policía instó a los testigos a ponerse en contacto con la línea de atención telefónica “porque, sobre todo en el caso de los niños, es importante ayudarlos antes de que se genere un trauma”.

El presidente de la Asociación Alemana de Circos, Ralf Huppertz, ha calificado el suceso como un trágico accidente. “Es una experiencia terrible, un shock, sobre todo para los visitantes y los niños”, manifestó.
Es más, añadió que los acróbatas “asumen riesgos que ellos mismos calculan y evalúan. Pero también son conscientes de ello”. Él mismo dijo no conocer la actuación en la que falleció la mujer, “pero, en realidad, cinco metros no es una altura especial para los acróbatas, que están bien entrenados y son musculosos. La mujer debió de tener muy mala suerte o caer sobre un obstáculo”.
