Die Mannschaft von Trainer Tuchel gewinnt in Lettland mit 5:0 – und löst so das Ticket für die XXL-Weltmeisterschaft im nächsten Sommer.
England wieder mit Harry Kane, der beim 3:0-Testspielsieg gegen Wales am Donnerstag noch geschont wurde. Und der Bayern-Stürmer steht sofort im Mittelpunkt. Doch sein Treffer in der 2. Minute wird wegen Abseits nicht gegeben.
In der 26. Minute landet die Kugel wieder im Netz. Und jetzt zählt der Treffer: Gordon bringt die Three Lions mit 1:0 in Führung. Noch vor der Pause erhöht Kane auf 3:0. Der Bayern-Star trifft zunächst mit links von der Strafraumgrenze (44.), dann versenkt er sicher einen Elfmeter (45.+3).

Europameister Spanien marschiert weiter ungeschlagen und ohne Gegentor durch die WM-Qualifikation.
Die Fans in Valladolid sehen von Beginn an ein Spiel auf ein Tor. Spanien drückt und hat beste Chancen, doch Keeper Vutsov (18., 24.) und die Latte (19.) verhindern zunächst den Rückstand für Bulgarien.
In der 35. Minute knackt Spanien dann endlich die bulgarische Hintermannschaft: Per Kopfball erzielt Merino das 1:0. Der Treffer hat dem Arsenal-Star offensichtlich gefallen. Auch das 2:0 erzielt Merino mit dem Kopf (57.). Das 3:0 fällt durch ein Eigentor von Chernev (79.) und zuletzt trifft Oyarzabal per Elfer zum 4:0-Endstand (90.+2).

Ohne Punktverlust war Portugal durch die ersten drei Spiele gekommen, gegen Ungarn reichte es nur zu einem 2:2. Von Beginn an tat sich die Mannschaft um Superstar Cristiano Ronaldo beim Spiel gegen Ungarn schwer.
Ganz früher Dämpfer für die Portugiesen: In der 8. Minute bringt Szalai nach einer Ecke die Ungarn auswärts in Führung. Doch Cristiano Ronaldo schießt sein Team wieder in die Spur: 1:1 (22.).
