Distinção do ‘Tuttosport’

A lista final dos nomeados ao prémio Golden Boy, que distingue o melhor futebolista sub-21 a atuar em solo europeu, foi anunciada esta quarta-feira em colaboração com o Transfermarkt, contando com 20 jogadores selecionados para o prestigiado galardão, aos quais se juntam mais cinco incluídos na lista dos chamados wildcards, isto é, os atletas que foram escolhidos diretamente pela redação do jornal ‘Tuttosport’, responsável pela entrega desta distinção.
Entre os eleitos, dos quais constam apenas atletas nascidos a partir de 1 de janeiro de 2025, encontram-se vários nomes conhecidos do futebol português. Desde logo, Geovany Quenda, jovem extremo do Sporting, de 18 anos, que, com um valor de mercado de 45 milhões de euros, é o jogador luso mais valioso na lista final dos 20 nomeados.
O outro futebolista da Liga Portugal Betclic presente nesta lista é Victor Froholdt, médio dinamarquês de 19 anos do FC Porto que está avaliado, ao dia de hoje, em 22 milhões de euros. O seu colega de equipa Rodrigo Mora, de 18 anos, também está em destaque entre os nomeados para o Golden Boy, ainda que na lista das tais escolhas adicionais do ‘Tuttosport’.

Por fim, destacar que o jogador mais valioso na lista final dos candidatos à conquista do Golden Boy – e também um dos grandes favoritos a vencer a distinção – é o francês Désiré Doué, avançado do PSG que tem, atualmente, um valor de mercado de 90 milhões de euros.
