In the Dallas Cowboys‘ 44-22 rout of the Washington Commanders, Dak Prescott added another dominant performance to his resume with three touchdown passes, including a 74-yard bomb to CeeDee Lamb. The quarterback was key in the divisional victory and reached a historic milestone in the NFL.
According to PSNF, Prescott became the sixth player in league history with at least 40 games of three or more touchdown passes in his first 10 seasons. Only five names accompany him in that club:

Dak Prescott’s 2025 stats: Offensive leadership among NFL elite
Beyond the achievement, Prescott is having one of his best seasons since entering the league. After seven weeks, he leads the NFL in completions with 164 and passing touchdowns, while he is second in passing yards with 1,617 and completion percentage (79.2%). His quarterback rating is 104.6, making him one of the best QBs of the year.
In recent games, his consistency has been remarkable with a QBR of 124.8 against the Panthers, 127.4 against the Jets and 124.9 against the Packers. This performance is boosted by the return of a key player in CeeDee Lamb and the good form of George Pickens and Jake Ferguson. With a full arsenal, Dak is expected to maintain those numbers or even improve on them.
Dallas Cowboys find their identity with Dak Prescott as offensive axis
Dak Prescott has been a key player in keeping the Cowboys competitive despite having one of the most permissive defenses in the league. At AT&T Stadium, Dallas showed an almost unstoppable offense, supported by the solid performance of running back Javonte Williams, who contributed 116 rushing yards and a touchdown.
The Cowboys are finding their best offensive form, scoring easily through the first three quarters and doubling their points-per-game average. On defense, they showed some improvement this week with players like DaRon Bland who made his presence felt with a 68-yard interception return for a touchdown. With a balanced 3-3-1 record, Dallas looks to be in the right spot to climb the standings, with Prescott leading one of the most dangerous offenses in the NFL.
Their next challenge will be against the Denver Broncos when they visit Empower Field at Mile High next Sunday, October 26 at 4:25 pm (ET), in which Dak will have to continue to lead Dallas to a positive record that will increase playoff expectations.
