Diese Sätze machen Hoffnung für den Meister-Endspurt in der Bundesliga!
Vor drei Wochen wurden bei Bayern-Star Dayot Upamecano (26) freie Gelenkkörper im linken Knie diagnostiziert. Der Verteidiger musste sich deswegen einer OP inklusive Knorpelglättung unterziehen.
Das Gute: Der Eingriff bei Knie-Papst Prof. Dr. Christian Fink konnte in Innsbruck minimalinvasiv durchgeführt werden. Daher war keine lange Wundheilung nötig und „Upa“ konnte nach nur zwei Wochen auf den Rasen zurückkehren.
Es geht um seine Zukunft: „Müller erzählte es uns heimlich am Fahrstuhl“
Deswegen machte Vincent Kompany (39) am Freitagvormittag Hoffnung auf ein Blitz-Comeback! Der Trainer: „Wenn man objektiv schaut, was er jetzt macht, sieht es gut aus. Wenn jeder der nächsten Schritte gut läuft, haben wir Hoffnung, dass er diese Saison noch zurückkommt.“
Bis zum 34. Spieltag in Hoffenheim (17. Mai) sind es noch vier Wochen. Seine Rückkehr im letzten Bundesliga-Spiel wäre deutlich früher, als nach der Diagnose zuerst angenommen wurde.
Intern wurde nach den Länderspielen mit der französischen Nationalelf Mitte März und der Schock-Diagnose erst von drei Monaten Pause ausgegangen. Jetzt könnte es deutlich schneller gehen.

Auch am Freitagvormittag absolvierte der Abwehr-Chef wieder eine individuelle Einheit auf dem Trainingsgelände. Erstmals nach der Operation konnte er intensive Diagonalläufe bei Reha-Coach Simon Martinello (40) machen.

Davor stand auf dem Programm: lockeres Aufwärmen und Koordinationsübungen an der Laufleiter – nach der Einheit dann noch das Auslaufen. Coach Martinello checkte immer wieder die Fitness-Werte, die über den Puls-Gurt beim Spieler gemessen wurden und ans iPad zur Kontrolle geschickt wurden.
Total ungewöhnlich: Upamecano absolvierte die gesamte Reha-Einheit mit offenen Schnürsenkeln! Erstaunlicherweise störte ihn die Schuh-Kuriosität nicht.
