„Závěr jsme nezvládli. Není to poprvé, už od přípravy nás to pronásleduje, to mě štve. Místo zkorigování si necháme dát dva tři laciné góly. Má to spojitost s kvalitou kádru, když nastoupí z lavičky Ewe (Ewerton) je to znát. Gól nám dal Zlatan (Tomáš Zlatohlávek),“ povzdychl si trenér Pardubice David Střihavka.
Výkon svých svěřenců, kteří v lize čekají na výhru už třináct utkání i přes porážku ocenil. „Jsem spokojený s výkonem, mělo to říz, systém. Opravdu jsem spokojený, i když to výsledek nepřineslo. Ten je hodně krutý, skoro každá akce Baníku skončila míčem v naší síti. Musíme být na sebe přísní, nároční, aby se to neopakovalo,“ říkal Střihavka.
A svůj tým přirovnal k Baníku před rokem. „V Ostravě je teď velká euforie. Dlouho se na ni čekalo, to mě inspiruje. Byly tady problémy, i my je máme a musíme se od toho odpíchnout. Pro někoho může znít srandovně co nyní řeknu, ale i my ten tým budujeme. Tak jako před rokem Baník. A dnes jsem cítil z týmu sílu. Bylo to krásné utkání, padlo sedm gólů. Když nastupujete před dvanácti tisíci diváky, hraje se úplně jinak. Fanoušci ženou domácí, ale pomohli i nám. Ten výkon měl říz, je potřeba aby se kluci naštvali a abychom šli v dalším zápase za vítězstvím,“ zdůraznil trenér Pardubic.
Střihavka si zavzpomínal i na svou Baníkovskou minulost. V letech 2006 až 2009 odehrál za Ostravu 59 ligových utkání a vstřelil 20 gólů. „Nostalgie je veliká, byl jsem tu dva a půl roku prožil své nejúspěšnější a nejplodnější období. Trenér Pavel Hapal mě tu trénoval. S pár lidmi jsem se tu potkal a bylo to hodně příjemné setkání,“ svěřil se Střihavka.
