This page will be a home base for PFF’s 2025 NFL mock drafts, which include analysis of individual draft prospects, trade scenarios and NFL team needs.

While the draft order and team needs may change between now and April, past mock drafts are a good barometer of the sentiments around certain draft prospects. Has their stock risen over the season? Has it fallen due to underwhelming testing numbers? Will someone take off out of nowhere at the last minute like Travon Walker did in 2022?

Do you want to try mocking all seven rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft? Try PFF’s mock draft simulator today!

2025 NFL Mock Draft: Travis Hunter joins Patriots before Bills, Bears and Titans make big trades

1. Tennessee Titans: QB Cam Ward, Miami (FL)

Nothing is set in stone until we see it happen, but it sure feels like Tennessee is locking in on college football’s highest-graded quarterback in 2024, Cam Ward. While the Titans would greatly benefit from selecting Travis Hunter or Abdul Carter, they ranked dead last in PFF passing grade last season and currently carry Will Levis

2025 NFL Mock Draft: Cam Ward, Shedeur Sanders go top two

1. TENNESSEE TITANS: QB CAM WARD, MIAMI (FL)

Key Stat: Ward ranked in the top two in PFF overall grade, touchdown passes and big-time throws in 2024 among FBS quarterbacks.

Bottom Line: Appreciating Ward, an unorthodox, big-game quarterback, requires a leap of faith. He is ultra-confident, at times to a fault. His mentality could one day make him an All-Pro — if his fundamentals don’t drop him from the league entirely.

2025 NFL Mock Draft: Jaxson Dart makes his way into top 3, Abdul Carter falls to Jets

1. *TRADE* New York Giants (via Titans): QB Cam WardMiami (FL)

Trade terms: Giants receive No. 1 pick; Titans receive No. 3 pick, No. 65 pick, 2026 first-round pick and 2026 third-round pick

Desperation sets in as the Giants make a titanic move to acquire the No. 1 overall pick. After seeing Daniel Jones record just 26 big-time throws over the past four seasons, head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen need to bring in a playmaker to provide a spark. Ward racked up 31 big-time throws in 2024 alone and fits what Daboll likes in a mobile quarterback.

Pre-Free Agency 2025 NFL Mock Draft: Giants trade up for Cam Ward, Browns zero in on Shedeur Sanders

1. *TRADE* New York Giants (via Titans): QB Cam WardMiami (FL)

Trade terms: Giants receive No. 1 overall pick; Titans receive No. 3 overall pick, No. 34 overall pick and 2026 third-round pick

The Giants are desperate for a franchise quarterback, so much so that owner John Mara has publicly said it’s “the No. 1 issue” for the team as general manager Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll head into a make-or-break season.

New York hopes to find that by trading up for Ward, whose 92.9 PFF overall grade in 2024 led all FBS quarterbacks.

Post-Combine 2025 NFL Mock Draft: Cam Ward goes to the Browns, big risers include Armand Membou, Shemar Stewart

1. TENNESSEE TITANS: EDGE ABDUL CARTERPENN STATE

After talking to people at the combine, I think the Titans are open for business to trade down from No. 1 — though not too far. If they don’t move back, I think they will lean toward drafting Carter over a quarterback. Titans president of football operations Chad Brinker said the team wouldn’t pass on a generational talent. Then, general manager Mike Borgonzi said he believes there are generational-type players in this class. I don’t think a quarterback is one of them; I believe Carter is.

2025 NFL Mock Draft: Travis Hunter to Jaguars, Ashton Jeanty to Chargers and Myles Garrett traded

1. Tennessee Titans: QB Cam WardMiami (FL)

After finishing dead last in PFF passing grade in 2024, the Titans elect to take Ward as their franchise quarterback. Ward finished his lone season at Miami with the nation’s highest PFF overall grade and an outstanding 6.3% big-time throw rate.

2025 NFL Mock Draft: QB Shedeur Sanders lands in New York, Cowboys trade for Myles Garrett

1. TENNESSEE TITANS: WR/CB TRAVIS HUNTER, COLORADO

When selecting first overall, a team’s top priority should be securing a player who delivers on that investment with high-level production. Reaching for positional value or banking on height/weight/speed outliers can lead to disappointment. The Titans avoid that risk by making the smartest move possible—selecting the best player in the draft class, Travis Hunter, with the No. 1 pick.

Post-Super Bowl 2025 NFL Mock Draft: Abdul Carter goes No. 1, Chiefs target the trenches

1. TENNESSEE TITANS: EDGE ABDUL CARTER, PENN STATE

The Titans need a quarterback, but the draft shouldn’t be about forcing needs — even for a quarterback. Many teams will view Carter as the best football player in this draft.

2025 NFL Mock Draft: Penn State’s Abdul Carter goes No. 1, Browns select QB Cam Ward at No. 2

1. Tennessee Titans: EDGE Abdul Carter, Penn State

All eyes are on the Titans at the top of the 2025 NFL Draft, as the franchise faces several glaring roster needs and could take multiple paths to address them. Their decision will have a cascading effect on how the rest of the draft unfolds.

One player who has gained momentum in recent weeks is Abdul Carter, whose betting odds to be the No. 1 overall pick have shortened significantly.

The explosive junior pass rusher delivered another dominant season in 2024, earning a 92.3 pass-rush grade — his second straight year eclipsing the 90.0 mark. Over the past two seasons, he has ranked in the 99th percentile in several of PFF’s most stable pass-rushing metrics, including pass-rush grade against true pass sets and pass-rush win rate.

If selected by the Titans, Carter would provide an immediate boost to a pass rush that ranked bottom five in team pass-rush grade, pass-rush win rate, and pressure rate in 2024.

2025 NFL Mock Draft: Travis Hunter goes No. 1, Cam Ward joins Browns and more

1. TENNESSEE TITANS: WR/CB TRAVIS HUNTER, COLORADO

It’s certainly possible that the Titans will stick at No. 1 and take a quarterback, but let’s have some fun. Recently, Titans president of football operations Chad Brinker said Tennessee wouldn’t pass on a “generational talent” with the first pick. While some took that to mean Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter, I believe Hunter is the only player who could truly deserve that label.

The Heisman Trophy winner is the greatest two-way player in college football history, placing sixth among FBS wideouts in PFF receiving grade and third among cornerbacks in PFF coverage grade. He’s the best football player in this draft, one who could help the Titans at arguably the two most valuable non-quarterback positions.

2025 NFL Mock Draft: Titans take Cam Ward, Colorado’s stars go in the top three

1. TENNESSEE TITANS: QB CAM WARD, MIAMI (FL)

The Titans earned the No. 1 overall pick in Week 18, largely because of their shortcomings at the quarterback position this season. Ward won’t be a fit for every team. For as much as he has some heroic big-time throws, he also has some head-scratching turnover-worthy plays. But he has improved every year he’s been in college, no matter the team. Ward possesses the mentality and the confidence you want in a potential franchise passer.

Way-Too-Early 2025 NFL Mock Draft: James Pearce Jr. goes No. 1 to the Panthers

1. Carolina Panthers: EDGE James Pearce Jr., Tennessee

After trading away Brian Burns, the Panthers find their next athletic edge rusher in Pearce. The sophomore’s 21.3% pressure rate ranked third among college football edge defenders, as did his 92.4 pass-rush grade. The scariest part is that he won almost exclusively off athleticism against SEC tackles. If Pearce develops more pass-rushing moves, watch out.

Washington Spirit vs. Gotham FC, NWSL Championship: Trinity Rodman’s status hangs over title match

Bills RB Ty Johnson fined $10,777 for pelvic-thrust TD celebration in win over Bucs

The NFL has fined Buffalo Bills running back Ty Johnson $10,777 for "obscene gestures" as part of a crackdown on unsportsmanlike conduct.
