Pidcock, al Giro. Se presenta una edición de la Corsa Rosa de altísimo nivel. Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team ha sido uno de los equipos elegidos para las tres invitaciones y su estrella británica estará en la Grande Partenza de Tirana.
Será el estreno de Pidcock en el Giro tras haber completado tres Tour de Francia y una Vuelta a España durante su periplo en Ineos. Ahora, llega como uno jefe absoluto del equipo suizo y con ganas de seguir mostrando su mejor versión tras un inicio de temporada ilusionante en el que arrasó en el AlUla Tour (dos etapas y general) y presentó batalla a Pogacar en una Strade Bianche en la que terminó segundo.

Junto a los cuatro invitados estarán en la Grande Partenza de Albania, uno de los equipos que descendieron en el último trienio con es Israel Premier Tech (Lotto Cycling Team ha declinado su concurso), y, por supuesto, los 18 equipos UCI World Tour entre los que se encuentra Movistar Team.
El Giro de Italia comenzará el 9 de mayo en Durrës y finalizará el 1 de junio en Roma.
