V záři reflektorů se ocitl devatenáctiletý český tenista Jakub Menšík poté, co v Miami porazil ve finále turnaje kategorie Masters tenisovou legendu, Srba Novaka Djokoviče 7:6, 7:6. Ten navíc prohrou přišel i o jubilejní, stý titul ATP v kariéře. „Byl to pravděpodobně můj největší den v životě. Jsem rád, že jsem před zápasem udržel nervy a předvedl takový výkon. Cítím se velmi šťastný a myslím, že ty další pocity přijdou později,“ uvedl Jakub Menšík krátce po utkání v rozhovoru pro agenturu ČTK.
