El colectivo arbitral ha mostrado su indignación y su preocupación por la aparición este fin de semana de una pancarta con el nombre y la imagen de Carlos del Cerro Grande con una diana en la frente. “Consideramos que esta situación es consecuencia directa de la escalada de violencia verbal que estamos sufriendo por parte de determinados sectores de la sociedad”, se lee en el comunicado.

Las árbitras y los árbitros profesionales desean manifestar:
Ante la aparición, este fin de semana, de una pancarta con el nombre y la imagen de nuestro compañero Carlos del Cerro Grande con una diana en la frente, las árbitras y los árbitros profesionales queremos expresar nuestra más rotunda condena ante estos hechos inadmisibles.
Consideramos que esta situación es consecuencia directa de la escalada de violencia verbal que estamos sufriendo por parte de determinados sectores de la sociedad y de muchos protagonistas del mundo del fútbol. Lejos de contribuir a rebajar la tensión, algunos discursos públicos parecen promover este tipo de comportamientos, generando un clima cada vez más hostil hacia nuestro colectivo.
Llevamos tiempo alertando sobre la gravedad de los acontecimientos y sobre la deriva que están tomando, afectando no solo a nuestro desempeño profesional, sino también a nuestra vida personal y familiar, donde nos enfrentamos, de forma creciente, a distintos tipos de incidentes desagradables.
Hoy ha sido una pancarta. ¿Y mañana, qué? ¿A qué estamos esperando?
Desgraciadamente, esta violencia también se ha trasladado a la base de nuestro fútbol y a otros deportes donde, cada fin de semana, se registran múltiples episodios de agresiones, incluso contra menores de edad sin que, en demasiadas ocasiones, los organismos competentes actúen con la diligencia necesaria.
Solicitamos expresamente la implicación del Consejo Superior de Deportes como máximo garante del deporte en nuestro país, para que lidere una respuesta coordinada y contundente frente a esta grave amenaza
Es hora de asumir responsabilidades por parte de las instituciones y entidades correspondientes para que se adopten medidas firmes, urgentes y eficaces para erradicar estas conductas violentas y por consiguiente actuar contra quienes las promuevan o justifiquen.
Solicitamos expresamente la implicación del Consejo Superior de Deportes como máximo garante del deporte en nuestro país, para que lidere una respuesta coordinada y contundente frente a esta grave amenaza a los valores del deporte y a la integridad de quienes lo representan.
Además, anunciamos que procederemos a emprender acciones legales de forma conjunta con el objetivo de llegar hasta las últimas consecuencias y proteger la seguridad y dignidad de todos los miembros del colectivo arbitral.
