El C.D. Leganés ha alcanzado un acuerdo con Andrés Pardo para su incorporación como nuevo director deportivo del club. Con su llegada, se suma al proyecto del equipo pepinero y comenzará de inmediato a trabajar en la planificación deportiva de la temporada 2025/26.
Tal y como avanzó MARCA, Pardo llega procedente del Real Madrid, donde desempeñaba el cargo de jefe de captación nacional en la cantera blanca, por lo que aterriza con una profunda experiencia en la detección y desarrollo de talento. Su llegada supone un refuerzo para el club de un modelo deportivo sólido y con visión de futuro.
El Leganés llevaba semanas buscando director deportivo después de que se anunciara que Txema Indias, quien ocupaba el cargo, no iba a seguir en el puesto después del 30 de junio. Se barajaron varios nombres, entre ellos el de Pardo, que ha sido finalmente el elegido para entrar en el equipo pepinero a partir del 1 de julio.

En su trayectoria, Andrés Pardo, de 44 años, ha sido clave en la captación de jugadores, consolidándose como un referente en el fútbol formativo. Antes de su etapa en el Real Madrid, trabajó en el Villarreal, donde contribuyó al desarrollo de grandes futbolistas como Yeremy Pino o Baena. En el equipo blanco son son muchos los nombres descubiertos, pero si hay un nombre del que se ha hablado mucho últimamente es el de Joan Martínez, central al que le ven proyección inmediata de primer equipo.
Además de su labor en el Villarreal y el Real Madrid, el nuevo director deportivo cuenta con una trayectoria destacada en el fútbol base español, iniciando su carrera en el Levante U.D.
Tras la salida de Pardo, José Oriol, antes el segundo de a bordo, es el nuevo jefe de captación del Real Madrid. Uno de sus últimos ‘fichajes’ fue apostar por el regreso de Valde, defensa que volvió precisamente del Leganés tras salir de la Fábrica en 2019, que ahora es internacional sub 19 y que ya ha entrado en una convocatoria con el primer equipo de Carlo Ancelotti. Además, también captó a Fran González y a Thiago Pitarch.
