La Fiscalía de Roma pidió este lunes archivar la investigación por fraude contable a Francesco Totti, leyenda y excapitán de la Roma, después de que saldara su deuda de casi un millón de euros con el fisco italiano, generada por no haber declarado parte de sus ingresos por publicidad durante cinco años.
Según la investigación que llevó a cabo en los últimos meses la ‘Guardia di Finanza’ (policía italiana de asuntos fiscales), Totti no declaró el IVA de muchas de sus acciones publicitarias durante un período de cinco años cuando terminó su carrera como futbolista, a la que puso fin en 2017.
La deuda de Totti, según desvelaron este lunes medios italianos, no era demasiado elevada para el futbolista, pero las multas e intereses posteriores aumentaron la cifra hasta casi alcanzar el millón de euros.
Según las mencionadas fuentes, la Fiscalía pidió archivar la investigación debido a que Totti saldó la deuda con el fisco en los últimos meses.
