Der Rumäne Andrei Ratiu hat durch eine starke Saison bei Rayo Vallecano in La Liga das Interesse zahlreicher Klubs auf sich gezogen. Wie „ProSport“ berichtet, taucht der Name des Rechtsverteidigers auf den Wunschlisten von Liverpool, Barcelona, Manchester City und auch Bayer Leverkusen auf.
Fürs Barça und Trainer Hansi Flick (60) könnte Ratiu auf seiner Stammposition ran – der aktuelle Rechtsverteidiger Jules Koundé (26) würde dafür auf seine gelernte Position des Innenverteidigers rücken. In Leverkusen wäre er wohl als Erbe für Jeremie Frimpong (24) vorgesehen. Der Niederländer wird immer wieder mit einem Liverpool-Wechsel in Verbindung gebracht. Anders als Frimpong wäre Ratiu eher die defensivere Variante eines Flügelspielers.

Bei der verhältnismäßig niedrigen Ausstiegsklausel ist die Reihe an Interessenten wenig überraschend: Die soll nämlich bei 25 Millionen Euro liegen.
Doch die Sache hat einen Haken: eine weitere Klausel, die sich Ratius Ex-Klub Villarreal bei seinem Verkauf (für gerade einmal 500.000 Euro) zusichern ließ. Das „gelbe U-Boot“ kann den rumänischen Nationalspieler angeblich für den festgelegten Betrag von 7 Millionen Euro sowie 50 Prozent der Transferrechte zurückkaufen – um ihn dann selbst an den Höchstbietenden abzugeben!

Rayos Sportdirektor David Cobeno sagte gegenüber DAZN: „Wir sind sehr zufrieden mit Andrei hier. Die Devise ist immer dieselbe: Wer ihn will, muss seine Ausstiegsklausel zahlen.“
Und: „Wir blicken sehr zuversichtlich in die Zukunft. Die Zeit wird zeigen, ob er dann bei uns bleibt, oder ob jemand anderes seine Ausstiegsklausel zahlt.“
