Paulo Silas repercutiu o momento vivido pelo Palmeiras na temporada. Depois de ficar com o vice-campeonato paulista, a estreia no Brasileirão não foi como todos imaginavam. Ao mesmo tempo, um Abel Ferreira cada vez mais irritado nas entrevistas buscando explicações.
Entre os torcedores, muitos sugerem constantemente a demissão do treinador. No ESPN FC, o ex-jogador do São Paulo e da seleção brasileira nota uma falta de paciência enorme por parte dos palmeirenses.
“O Palmeiras subiu não só a cobrança, como a exigência. Ela sempre foi uma torcida que cobrou, só que quando não ganhava tinha uma tolerância maior. O Felipe Anderson ainda não encaixou, o Paulinho machucado, o Gómez fez muita falta nas finais contra o Corinthians”, disse Silas.
Com os títulos conquistados nos últimos anos, o comentarista percebe uma cobrança agora maior ano após ano. Mesmo com tantas taças, Abel não tem sido imune às críticas.
“São muitas mudanças e uma cobrança gigantesca em cima de um treinador.” Ele tem 10 títulos, é muita coisa. O Palmeiras sempre teve paciência com treinador e jogadores que chegavam. “Agora não tem mais, acabou isso aí”, analisou Silas.

Uma declaração de Abel Ferreira repercutiu muito mal entre torcedores após o empate do Palmeiras com o Botafogo, por 0 a 0, no Allianz Parque. O treinador fez elogios à torcida adversáriae muitos entenderam aquilo como uma indireta aos palmeirenses.
“Nunca vi nossos torcedores gritarem ‘somos campeões’ como os do Botafogo”, disse Abel.
Ao longo do dia, muitas manifestações de revolta contra o português. No fim da noite de ontem, um pedido de desculpas pelas palavras colocadas.
