American TV personality and fashion designer Kristin Cavallari has shared all of the details of her fling with former NHL star Nate Thompson.
She shared the information and name-dropped Thompson on her ‘Let’s Be Honest’ podcast on Tuesday, and he has since responded.
“I don’t even care,” she quipped. “I said his name on [my podcast] tour. I really think he’s such a great guy. … He is someone who has done a lot of work on himself.
“We didn’t hold back anything,” she explained of her “honest, pure, amazing” connection to the ex-athlete. “We told each other f-king everything.
“That attraction piece for me has to be so on fire for me to want to be with someone. I have gone out with amazing men, and this guy is a good example of that. Why can’t I fall in love you?
“I need compatibility and chemistry. I understand that what I’m searching for is rare. I’m not gonna settle for anything less than exactly what I want.”
Thompson issues his response
Thompson has since responded on his own podcast ‘Energy Line’ and said: “It’s OK! It’s fine. I mean, I knew it was only a matter of time before things became public. That’s her world; that’s what she does.
“Her podcast, obviously, as you know, is pretty big, and she talks about her relationships, so I knew it was probably gonna come out eventually.
“It was fun. … She’s a cool person. We had a good time. Life is gonna life, and it just didn’t work out,” he explained, noting that they “had a lot in common” given that they’re both “single parent[s]” to their respective children.
“Obviously, we don’t live in the same city, so that dynamic changed things,” he continued, reiterating that they “kinda hit it off, but … things didn’t work out.”
The former hockey player backed up a lot of what Cavallari had told her listeners, saying: “I went [to Nashville] a couple times and saw her. I was with her for New Year’s. We told each other a lot of things in a short amount of time, and we were pretty open and honest about a lot of stuff.”

Sanders, the son of Pro Football Hall-of-Famer and Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, was widely expected to be a first- or second-round pick but instill fell all the way to the fifth round and was selected behind five other quarterbacks.
