Drei WM-Gürtel hält Tina Rupprecht (32) bereits – von den Verbänden WBC, WBO und WBA. Am Samstag (live im MDR ab 22.30 Uhr) will die 1,52 Meter große Augsburgerin in Potsdam den Titel des vierten Verbands IBF hinzufügen. Das schaffte vor ihr noch niemand aus Deutschland! Weltweit gelang dies überhaupt erst elf Boxerinnen und elf Boxern. Darunter solche Legenden wie der aktuelle Schwergewichts-Champion Oleksandr Usyk (38), Mittelgewicht-Dominator Bernard Hopkins (60) oder Saul „Canelo“ Álvarez (34). „Es ist krass, dass ich in diese Reihe kommen kann“, sagt Rupprecht. „Ich habe dann genau diese vier Titel der großen Verbände wie sie. Unglaublich!“

Um das Gürtel-Quartett im Atomgewicht (bis 46,3 Kilogramm) zu komplettieren, muss sie eine ungewöhnliche Aufgabe erfüllen. Denn ihre japanische Gegnerin Sumire Yamanaka (23) ist sogar noch sechs Zentimeter kleiner! „Das hatte ich erst einmal in meiner Karriere“, sagt Rupprecht. „Gegen die Spanierin Catalina Diaz. Yamanaka ist aber die Kleinste überhaupt. Ich nehme sie, wie es kommt!“
[–>SPORT BILD maß bei Rupprecht nach. Ihre Spannweite, die im Ring die Reichweite ihrer Schläge bestimmt, beträgt auch 1,52 Meter. Ihre Fäuste sind 7,5 Zentimeter breit. Damit will sie Yamanaka mit Schlägen eindecken und beeindrucken. „Sie ist jung und ehrgeizig. Der Kampf wird geil! Ich freue mich drauf“, sagt Rupprecht.

Da es in Deutschland kaum passende Sparringspartnerinnen in der richtigen Größe gibt, reiste Rupprecht zum Trainingslager nach Usbekistan. In Yangiobod befindet sich das nationale Boxzentrum in den Bergen. „Da gibt es Gegnerinnen in allen Größen“, sagt Rupprecht. „So konnte ich auf höchstem Niveau trainieren. Die Trainingspartnerinnen sind einfach Maschinen – mehrfache asiatische Meisterinnen, Olympiateilnehmerinnen und auch Weltmeisterinnen.“ Seit Neujahr läuft die Vorbereitung der Realschullehrerin – jeweils mittwochs gibt sie Sportunterricht – auf diesen Karrierehöhepunkt.

Vor Kämpfen hat die gebürtige Augsburgerin einen besonderen Ablauf: „Bevor ich in die Halle fahre, dusche ich noch einmal kalt. Außerdem habe ich seit Amateurzeiten ein Ritual mit meinem Trainer Alexander Haan. Er klatscht mit der Hand auf meine Schultern, Oberschenkel. So richtig mit Wucht, dass es wehtut.
