Por esta razón, Lando Norris cree que la pareja que conforma con Oscar Piastri es lo que realmente marca la diferencia con el resto de las escuderías. “No estamos tan lejos, pero creo que es porque literalmente somos el único equipo que tiene dos buenos pilotos en este momento”, dijo Norris, antes del Gran Premio de Japón de este fin de semana.

Asimismo, tras mencionar que McLaren es el único equipo con dos buenos pilotos, Norris también asegura que los actuales campeones del mundo disfrutan del mejor monoplaza, pero no el más rápido. “En algunos casos, no creo que tuviéramos necesariamente el coche más rápido, pero el hecho de que tengamos dos pilotos que se presionan mutuamente marca una diferencia mayor de lo que la gente espera”.
