Vinícius se k sázce nijak nevyjádřil. Jen po utkání na sociálních sítích připomněl, že svým 104. gólem v dresu Realu vyrovnal krajana a předchůdce Ronalda. „Je čest dát stejný počet gólů jako můj idol. Přišel jsem sem jako kluk a on mi ukázal cestu.“

Neproměněnou penaltou i nečekanou porážkou si Real zkomplikoval pouť k titulu v La Lize. Z druhého fleku osm kol před koncem soutěže ztrácí na vedoucí Barcelonu čtyři body. A Real může být ještě rád, že největší rival v sobotu večer ztratil, když doma pouze 1:1 remizoval s Betisem.

„Těžký zápas. Víme, kde se ale zlepšit. Madrid se nikdy nevzdává, uvidíme se v Londýně,“ vzkázal Vinícius. Real míří do Anglie, v úterý rozehraje čtvrtfinále Ligy mistrů proti Arsenalu.
