El Real Madrid no tiene tiempo para deprimirse por la derrota ante el Valencia y sus consecuencias, con el Barça ya marcando distancias y con una visita además pendiente a Montjuïc. Los blancos han pagado caro las dudas que arrastran de un tiempo a esta parte y que Ancelotti no ha podido solucionar: el problema en la portería y la fragilidad defensiva, un medio campo que no genera tanto como antes, un Vinicius que empieza a sentir el run run del Bernabéu, los fallos en los penaltis y la incertidumbre por el lanzador. Y tras este duro golpe está al caer el Arsenal en Londres. Hay poco tiempo para levantarse pero no queda otra.
El Madrid lleva tiempo sufriendo más de la cuenta para sacar sus partidos adelante. Sufrió para clasificarse en Champions. Dejar en la cuneta a City, en el play off para entrar a octavos, y a Atlético puso en un segundo plano las dudas. Pero en Liga y en Copa se han acentuado en los últimos encuentros. Basta con decir que el equipo ha encajado ocho goles en los últimos tres partidos: dos le hizo el Lega aunque se ganó sufriendo (3-2), cuatro la Real en el Bernabéu con un pase a la final agónico, y este sábado dos el Valencia. Es evidente que las bajas en defensa, como la de Carvajal, Militao y Alaba, que ha vuelto pero que no está a su nivel, se notan. La zaga va con lo justo y lo ha terminado pagando.
Mención especial tiene la portería. Fran González debutó con el Madrid ante el Valencia. No se le puede culpar de la derrota, pero las dudas se mantienen para el partido ante el Arsenal. Courtois podría volver, eso espera Carlo, pero está teniendo problemas físicos y Lunin no ha estado al nivel de la campaña pasada, como se vio ante la Real. El ucraniano, por si fuera poco, se lesionó, y el hecho de que entrase en la lista ante el Valencia pese a que no está para jugar habla de la delicada situación de la portería. El belga es otro de los pilares de Ancelotti, pero ya se ha perdido siete encuentros por lesión y tampoco ha estado a su mejor nivel a lo largo de la campaña, si bien sigue siendo una garantía.
Menos ideas en el medio
El Madrid había encontrado en Ceballos una solución a sus males en la medular y es posible que llegue a la cita ante el Arsenal. Modric ha vuelto a ganar peso pero sigue sumando años. Valverde ha tenido muchas veces que echar una mano en la zaga… El caso es que al equipo le ha costado también en los últimos encuentros dominar los partidos. Camavinga ha dado un paso atrás y Tchouaméni, pese a que ha dado equilibrio, no es un perfil para generar mucho juego.
Los analistas de Radio MARCA valoran la derrota del Real Madrid (1-2) ante el Valencia que deja muy tocado al equipo blanco.
Vinicius bajo sospecha
El Madrid de Ancelotti ha sustentado buena parte de sus éxitos en un Vinicius excelso que esta temporada está siendo más irregular, sin abandonar algunas polémicas con árbitros o rivales. Ante el Valencia se escucharon algunos pitos después de que fallara otro penalti tras el del euroderbi y ni siquiera su arreón en la segunda parte calmó a una parte de la grada, aunque muy minoritaria. Y eso que ya lleva 20 goles y que no se puede poner en duda su garra y su insistencia, por eso resulta más extraño.
Sin embargo, el tema del lanzador de penaltis ha sido tema de debate para Ancelotti, que decidió que Mbappé y Vinicius se pusieran de acuerdo a la hora de lanzar. Kylian ha fallado otros dos y Bellingham, uno, más estos dos seguidos del brasileños. En la sala de prensa, a pregunta de MARCA, el entrenador no descartó darle una vuelta al tema de los lanzadores.
Se abonan al sufrimiento
Que el Madrid no carbura lo dicen los resultados y la forma de jugar. En lo que respecta a lo primero, tras la derrota ante el Betis fuera, en un partido flojo, ganó al Rayo muy justo (2-1), al Villarreal sufriendo (1-2) y agotados tras el euroderbi, sin olvidar el Lega en casa (3-2). En lo que va de 2025, ha perdido tres partidos de Liga: Espanyol, Betis y este último contra el Valencia.
